Welcome to Cosmic Rizz. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use our mobile application. By using Cosmic Rizz, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Cosmic Rizz is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not require account creation, and we do not maintain a central database of our users. Information such as your display name, birth date, relationship status, and pantheon preferences are stored locally on your device using Android DataStore. This data is used solely within the App to generate your daily "Cosmic Rizz" score and prophecy. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this local information is permanently deleted.
To provide the core functionality of the App, your locally stored preferences are temporarily transmitted to secure third-party APIs:
- Groq API: Your selected data points are securely sent to the Groq AI engine to generate your daily prophecy. Groq does not use your prompt data to train their models.
- NASA API: The App connects to NASA's open Astronomy Picture of the Day API to fetch background imagery. No personal data is shared with NASA.
Cosmic Rizz uses Google AdMob to display Rewarded Video Ads. AdMob may collect and use data (such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and usage data) to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements. You can learn more by visiting Google's Privacy & Terms.
The App requests permissions for Notifications (to send your Daily Prophecy Alert) and Internet Access (to fetch AI prophecies, background images, and load advertisements).
